The North Belton girls basketball teams traveled to Belton Middle School on Wednesday night for their second game of the season. The 7A Broncos came out with focus and intensity, and worked together to create an 18-2 lead within the first quarter. Defense worked hard to force turnovers, which led to many scoring opportunities. Taylee Conway had an incredible game, scoring 26 points for the Broncos. Taylee’s defensive hustle to make fast break opportunities earned her the player of the game award! Almost all of the Broncos contributed to the score, which made this a total team effort. Aniya Swinton-17; Clara Smith-6; Gracelyn McWhorter-5; Cheyenne Burgan-4; Jaelyn Bass and Harper Aaronson-2 each. The final score for the game was 62-2. The NBMS Broncos will have their first home game next Wednesday, as they host Lamar.
