NORTH BELTON BRONCOS DOMINATE SEASON OPENER WITH 36-0 VICTORY OVER LAMAR BEARCATS

North Belton Broncos Dominate Season Opener with 36-0 Victory Over Lamar Bearcats The North Belton Broncos kicked off their season in spectacular fashion, delivering a commanding 36-0 shutout victory against the Lamar Bearcats. From the opening snap, the Broncos showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting season. The game began with the Broncos on defense, and they wasted no time making an impact. On a crucial 4th-and-goal situation at the 1-yard line, Ja'Rod Dunn came up big with a fumble recovery, halting the Bearcats' early momentum. The defense's stop gave the Broncos the ball on their own 1-yard line, and the offense quickly capitalized. Running back Jayden Peters gave the Broncos some breathing room with a 14-yard run, setting the stage for Blaine Warehime to break free for a jaw-dropping 83-yard rushing touchdown. Juan Valenzuela's successful extra point put the Broncos up 8-0 early in the first quarter, sending a message that North Belton came to play. In the second quarter, the Broncos' defense continued to play a bend-but-don't-break style, allowing some movement but holding firm when it mattered most. Jayden Peters, already making an impact on offense, came through on defense with a critical interception in the red zone, preventing the Bearcats from scoring. Peters wasn’t done, as he then hauled in a 38-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Easton Moore on the very next drive. Juan Valenzuela's extra point extended the lead to 16-0 heading into halftime. The Broncos picked up right where they left off in the third quarter. Easton Moore connected with Blaine Warehime for a stunning 60-yard touchdown pass, further stretching the Broncos' lead. On the next defensive drive, Arthur Amboree came up with a key forced fumble, giving the Broncos the ball once again. Before the end of the third quarter, Jayden Peters found the end zone for the second time, this time on a 24-yard rushing touchdown, putting the Broncos up 28-0. In the fourth quarter, Peters capped off his dominant performance with a 25-yard rushing touchdown, marking his third score of the night. Juan Valenzuela remained perfect on the night, adding another extra point to make it 36-0. With just 41 seconds remaining, Dax Reese sealed the game with a late interception, ensuring the Broncos' defense preserved the shutout and capped off a flawless night. The Broncos’ defense was a force to be reckoned with, forcing multiple turnovers and never allowing the Bearcats to find any rhythm. Offensively, the combination of big plays from Easton Moore, Blaine Warehime, and Jayden Peters, along with the steady leg of Juan Valenzuela, made sure the Broncos never looked back after taking an early lead. With this impressive 36-0 victory, the North Belton Broncos move to 1-0 on the season The Broncos will look to carry this momentum into next week's matchup against Travis. Final score: North Belton Broncos 36, Lamar Bearcats 0.
