The North Belton Broncos delivered an impressive all-around performance Monday Night , cruising to a 30-0 shutout win over the Bearcats. From the first snap to the final whistle, the Broncos controlled every aspect of the game, setting the tone early and never looking back.
The game’s electrifying start came courtesy of Wide out Darrell Cress, who took the ball 40 yards to the house for a rushing touchdown on the opening drive, putting the Broncos up 6-0. The Broncos' defense followed with a quick stop, shutting down the Bearcats' offense and forcing them off the field.
On the next possession, it was Titus Steward's turn to shine. He ripped through the Bearcats' defense for a 30-yard rushing touchdown and Coleman Casebolt made the P.A.T. extending the Broncos' lead to 14-0. At halftime, the score stood 14-0, with the Broncos’ defense holding firm and refusing to give an inch.
The second half began with more fireworks from the defense, as the Broncos forced a safety on the Bearcats’ first offensive drive, increasing the lead to 16-0. Titus Steward, already making his mark in the first half, followed up the defensive play with a spectacular 50-yard kickoff return, setting the Broncos up in prime position. Coleman Casebolt nailed the point-after attempt, stretching the lead to 24-0.
The fourth quarter saw the Broncos continue their domination, with quarterback Ryden Hoelsher delivering a perfectly placed 40-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Yazdan Khan.
