North Belton beat Copperas Cove 23-16. Defensive player of the game was Nicholas Ling with steal after steal in press situations. Offensive player of the game was Drew Houston who reclaimed his mid range touch and finished with 9 points. The game was still close in the 4th quarter until Jackson Shelley setup outside the 3 point line and put the nail in the coffin. The Broncos are 6-1 on the season and host LBMS next week at Lake Belton High School.

In the first quarter, the Broncos faced a 6-point deficit with a score of 14-8. By halftime, the gap widened, and they were down by 14 at 29-15. Henry Mcgregor emerged as the leading scorer at halftime. Despite a comeback effort in the second half, the Broncos fell short, losing 53-42. Mcgregor finished with 14 points, Tristian Aldridge contributed 9, and AJ Macchia added 8 points.
