The North Belton 7A girls kicked off the new year by traveling to Bonham on Thursday night. With only six players due to injuries, the team was up for a challenge as players had to step into different roles. After an initial slow start, the Broncos turned up the extra degree to take a twenty point lead before the half. Olivia Dann led the scoring in the first half with 24 points. The push continued into the second half, with Kaleileana Cress igniting her intensity, scoring 16 points for the Broncos. Cadence Williams had several key rebounds, and 4 points. Olivia Dann finished the game with an impressive 32 points. However, it was a true team effort as every Bronco team member listed on the roster Thursday night contributed to the 66-6 victory over the Bulldogs. Special congratulations to Kaleileana Cress for being selected as the NBMS 7A Player of the Game, for her solid defense and multiple steals.
