North 7B played Midway this week and the girls played strong and hard. Unfortunately, we fell short and North lost 8-25. During the 1st quarter of the game, we did not score offensively but kept up with the Midway girls and fought hard on defense. Going into the 2nd quarter, the score was 0-9 but as soon as the quarter started, A. Salazar came out and scored 3 points. After regrouping and setting some goals coming into the 3rd quarter after halftime, Kanzenbach and King scored 2 points each. To end the game, we also had Goodwin score 1 point to give us the final score 8-25. North battled all the way till the end and did not give up!
