The North Belton 7A Broncos hosted the Midway Panthers on Thursday night. The physicality of the game was evident from the first few minutes of the starting half. The Broncos battled with intensity, but came up short at the half trailing the Panthers by 10 points. Olvia Dann came out on fire, scoring 12 of her 21 points before the half. The second half held hope as the Broncos regrouped after halftime, but the pressure of making up points got the best of them. The Broncos struggled to maintain possession of the ball, and had hiccups in communication of defense. Kalei Cress contributed 4 points, while Cadence Williams contributed 2. The final score was 44-27. The Broncos will come back after the break to travel to Bonham on January 11th.
