The North Belton 7A team took to the floor in their second appearance of the season as they hosted S.C. Lee on Wednesday, December 6th. The team pulled together to secure a 41-8 victory in front of a large home crowd. The aggressive play of the Broncos forced the Bulldawgs to call several time outs in the first half of the game. NBMS led at the half with a score of 20-4, and they continued that momentum into the second half. The Broncos displayed solid defense, allowing for steals to increase possession opportunities. Offensively, the Broncos outscored their opponent by as much as 10 points in the third quarter. Leading the Broncos in the scoring for the evening was Olivia Dann, with 24 points. Kalei Cress contributed 6 points, Kayleigh Jackson was close behind with 5, while Cadence Williams had 4 and Aria Newman 2. Kayleigh Jackson was the player of the game for her outstanding pressure defensively and her offensive initiative to establish herself as a threat. The NBMS Broncos will be back in action on Thursday, December 14th as they host Midway Middle School.
