North Belton Middle School and Lake Belton Middle School hosted the 2026 Belton ISD Middle School Volleyball Tournament on Friday and Saturday. North Belton Middle School hosted the 7A and 7B brackets for the tournament. The NBMS 7A Broncos faced a challenging start to their tournament debut on Friday, dropping their first-round match and moving to the consolation side of the bracket. However, the Broncos returned Saturday with renewed energy, confidence, and determination. Throughout Saturday’s competition, the 7A Broncos demonstrated composure under pressure and remained focused during a challenging matchup against Midway. The Broncos earned a two-set victory over Midway before continuing their success against South Belton, securing another two-set win to claim the Consolation Championship. The team’s success was a testament to their coachability, teamwork, and ability to rely on one another during long and competitive rallies. Their determination was especially rewarding as they overcame opponents they had previously faced and lost to earlier in the season. We are incredibly proud of the Broncos for their hard work, growth, improvement, and determination throughout the tournament. Their continued progress is a reflection of their commitment to one another and their willingness to compete through every challenge. The 7A Broncos will travel to S.C. Lee on Thursday as they continue their district schedule.
